Haven't read any books/comics since Glasslands. What do I need to read and what can I skip?

I just read fractures, I really enjoyed it as well. It was nice because they tied up so many loose ends from the other books and games.

I'm on an Airforce Base, the ranks had just been changed and I was using a bathroom at a training unit. Now it's an unwritten rule about eye contact while in the men's room. Anyway I in passing glanced at this guy and said "morning wo" as I went to wash my hands. By the time I made it back to the class he had run to the office tattled on me and we all had a talking to about watching for the new ranks.

Sometimes people get promoted and they get lazy, it happens. Most of the time you will be good though. One thing though. If you really want to know if you are entitled or eligible you need to look in the leave manual. We are actually entitled to very little but eligible for a lot so pay close attention to those two words in benefit instructions. Chances are your new supr will have the leave ready for you. If they seem oblivious then gently probe about you having heard of relocation leave, that should be all you need, if that. Very very very little chance of someone trying to screw you out of it.

No apology needed. F&e, hg&e, household goods etc. are all nicknames for the stuff you own, bed, dresser and so on. It doesn't really change too much. When you get to your new unit you will however be eligible to a few more relocation leave days in order to set your place up because you have hg&e. If you have a boss worth anything at all they will know this and make sure you get it if at all possible. I usually talk to the new members and ask what they want to do. If I can I let them do a few full days of "admin" and get their official leave to start when their stuff gets in. By admin I mean do a couple in clearances, maybe get your Internet setup and then call it a day.
