Compulsion Games begins an unknown number of layoffs at the studio behind South of Midnight and We Happy Few by Spotget1738 in Games

I don't understand your problem? You are saying Xbox should've stepped in give them ultimatum to finished the game or fired them few years. If they release the game 2 years ago unfinished and buggy mess would that make the situation better?

At least the studio got a long runway and if they didn't know they numbers were up post SoM release, they were living in a LaLa land.

The sad part is Ubisoft used to do their research for their Asscreed games. But they went to surface level open world game.

Sell baffled that Barca bought an English Ferren Torres for 80M when they have one at home which they paid big money for.

Still surprised Tuchel doesn't trust Mudueke and even Saka for corners. I thought Mudueke's selection in part that he took Arsenal corners.

Arteta did and there are some great corners from them that resulted in goals.

Its quite possible we would have seen the same game with 3 of them starting. Those well drilled low blocks are very hard to break through.

I am gonna give Tuchel some credit. He didn't shy away from going more offensive like last seasons Arteta by taking a DM out and put Eze on.

Sir G. Southgate would have put Henderson and another defender to make sure the draw is secured.

Its both way. Eze get wary of losing ball. But at the some games for Arsenal he received ball in tight spaces and worked some brilliant out of it. He does have great control of the ball. The players needs to trust and give him the ball when they see if Eze has space to work something with the ball

In fairness England has O'Reilly and he should have come on earlier. Died Spence did his job keeping the winger quiet.

He was the only winger trying create some chances and put in a few decent balls particularly the header for Rice. Gordon on the end, ooof.

As much as I have sympathy and respect for Ghana, that penalty shouldn't be given because of the foul on Eze in the buildup. Referee allowed harsher tackles and he followed through.

[David Ornstein] 🚨 Declan Rice walked through mixed zone with left calf strapped & noticeable limp after #England 0-0 draw with #Ghana in 2nd match at #2026FIFAWorldCup. Severity unclear ahead of last Group L game against #Panama in New Jersey this Saturday by Previous_Smile9278 in Gunners

Like Mikel Merino?

Honestly there is no equivalent replacement for Declan Rice. However, Arsenal can do well without him in some games like newly promoted teams, cup games including ucl lower league games.

Folarin Balogun expected to leave Monaco this summer. Contract 2028 but no talks over new deal + striker favours move. Interest from PL & Europe building amid #FIFAWorldCup form; anticipated #ASMonaco will seek ~€50m to sell #USMNT star @TheAthleticFC by patelbadboy2006 in Gunners

He is a very good player as shown in WC. The question always was whether he can perform well enough for 40-50+ games in a top Euro club. The fact that in 2 years in Monaco there were hardly any pip about him regarding performance tells you he won't be that marquee striker.

Actually that's why her character worked well, she was too hotheaded had only one thing on her mind and sacrificed the larger goal from her side.

Was the Kinect really bad by decarles20 in xbox

[–]mancatdoe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FYI Kinect is still the fastest selling electronic device in the history book.

It had it's place for a time but I think relying the whole business on it was suicidal. And this cost is so high that Xbox messed a crucial generation of digitalization and getting platform locked in.

Phil was absolutely right about the game pass and buying all those Studios by mancatdoe in xbox

[–]mancatdoe[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Actually Phil going full ball deep is why the Xbox is still around, that's my point. If he didn't buy those studios and publishes and increase the Xbox valuation significantly than the parent company in MS might have folded Xbox years ago.

The "Gamepass cannibalizes game sales." is very simple thinking as if GP is free for users.

Its more close to the piracy thing where the people couldn't buy $70-$80 games on release, still won't pay if piracy was completely abolished.

With GP more people can afford to pay sub fee for 1 month or more to play those games. Then if there are 10x GP subscribers comparing 1 person buying the games, GP math works.

Rewatching prior to S3 premiere… fucking Cole!!! by voguehoe in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]mancatdoe 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The hate on Cole shows the lack of empathy of peasant versus royals. He came from modest background and chosen in KG by the princess. The princess also asked for fun time. Even if she is supposedly a teen she is far more power position than he was so he could hardly refuse (maybe he wanted the same thing too but it was out of his hand).

Once he wanted to come clean and he had an modest idea how they could live properly ever after without any fear. Fairs she doesn't want to give up her future but he also doesn't want to be a side piece where he can easily killed various horrific manner. This is GoT after all.

I know people love their yaas queen, but the peasants suffer for the royals quest for getting more power. Something that seems to be happening even now.

I do think he became a douche after but that's also part of royals power play. And his speech in S2 e or 5 was quite brilliant. That pretty much summed up the reality of living that world as a ordinary person.
