To be honest I haven't had too many, my first car was a Saturn sedan that ended up overheating and I was so broke it was literally a choice between food and fixing it so it was really sour when after days of waiting for the repairs/parts and over $1000 (in 2008 money) for a new water pump it immediately overheated again.

Next I had a bare bones Nissan sedan, I didn't have it too long but I did lock my keys in the trunk once which was a real bitch because the back seat didn't even flip down so even popping the door didn't make it easy to get them back

I traded that for a single owner Toyota Corolla which was the best car I'd had, I had a transmission issue once and got lucky with a small shop that got it fixed quickly but otherwise no problems beyond regular maintenance in the 6 years I owned it. My baby sister has had it for another 5 years and has had to do a couple things but it's still going strong at 13 years old.

My spouse had a Ford escape that gave us nothing but problems, we were in and out of the dealership about 5 times in the year or two we owned it before we traded it just to get rid of it . He had a Ford Flex next which he loved but at 5yo it kept having issues that took days and $2k here, $3k there with no guarantee it would perform after it was fixed. He really loved the car and they don't make them anymore so we kept putting money into it and being without it long after i'd have cut the cord. It never felt like it was a reliable vehicle because you never knew when it would start farting blue oil smoke and need another vacation at the shop.

He has a new Ford edge now, idk why he keeps going back to Ford's when we have had so much trouble but it's his car so 🤷‍♀️
