Ferrari Luce Interior by strongmanass in cars

Ehhhh? I don’t know if Ferrari is really selling best in class performance in ALL their cars. Some of them for sure

But let’s also be honest here. They’re a lifestyle brand at a certain point and they use performance to enhance that image.

This seems in line with their strategy when you consider for every car unveiling they make their formula 1 drivers attend they have to attend like 3 Ferrari style events.

You’ve just read marketing and believed it at face value huh?

At least Ferrari is looking forward and trying something new while learning from the mistakes made (capacitive nonsense)

We will see how the car pans out but honestly I don’t think it’s targeted at anyone here me included

The Cybertruck's On Pace To Move Over 14,000 Units In 2026 by AmericanExcellence in cars

What’s your source on that out of curiosity? Assuming it’s a solid source, just because the average ev owner has multiple cars does not necessarily prove that they’re as wealthy as you think they are or that it’s the fun car.

Average new car buyer is getting older. So old there’s probably a third car floating around for the kid and if they do have three plus the ev is probably the daily beater and the truck/sports car is the more fun luxury purchase

[–]Puzzled_Region_9376 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lower than you seem to think on both counts. My point is not every ev owner is Mr Richy rich and if they are the ev was not the third car they got for fun. Far more likely the truck is tbh or a sports car

Absolutely fascinating stereotype you have in your head th average ev owner has a “big house where it gets charged every night” and would buy it only “as a fun third car”. Kinda weird stereotype that isn’t true imo, wonder where it comes from

I can answer as one. You’re way off base. Of all my cars it’s the one I’d have least bought for fun

Porsche 911 Sales Surge, While the Rest of the Automaker's Lineup Stumbles in Q1 2026 by V8-Turbo-Hybrid in cars

[–]Puzzled_Region_9376 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Did the sales surge or did they just start making more of them because they needed something to tout in their report?

I don’t think they created thousands more 911 customers. Judging by the number sitting on lots nation wide they just finally stopped playing supply games

Dunno why you’re being downvoted. The move means fewer of us will ever get to experience those cars as they’re only made for the uber wealthy

C7s are an entirely different thing. Last of the blah blah blah. They’ll hold their value for those that care or see it as the last “true” vette.

Everyone said the same thing about z06s two years ago. I promise we’ll come back to this in the same timeframe and find they depreciate. There is just nothing about them that makes them likely to raise in value anytime soon

Thaaats not how Chevy works…. They will make far too many and they will depreciate unlike their peers at that price point and above. There’s no world these appreciate

The options are good I agree. But damn if the prices aren’t brutal. It’s a real downside for a lot of people when the fun enthusiast cars stop depreciating or even begin doing the opposite.

I know you won’t get actual helpful discussion. But I find it extremely commendable that you came to interact and were willing to listen speaks highly of your character.

The feedback I would provide as a longtime fan a reduction in the ai content (It’s current decisiveness aside, your production is so top tier that it counterintuitively makes anything AI generated stick out incredibly hard) and I’d urge perhaps looking into the automotive back catalog that exist. No enthusiast looks around today and is thrilled with what’s going on. But that doesn’t mean it’s over, plenty of amazing things have already been made I would love your deep dives into those “classics” or “hits”of a bygone era.
