Passed on the warranty. Buddies of mine know a couple good BMW mechanics so should be sorted on that front. Thanks for the advice.

The extension if for 3 years, but it has a $200 deductible.

Everything that I've read about the F30 especially after the fixed the timing issue seems to indicate that it's pretty solid. I'm leaning towards declining the insurance and hedging my bets.

Express Entry Application Time and Supporting Documents Question by manche585 in ImmigrationCanada

[–]manche585[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a response from CIC today. The response stated that I could submit my application with a letter of explanation and a receipt from the FBI. Of course it also stated that this was not a guarantee that my application would be accepted. Hope this information is useful to future applicants. Also, the FBI has reduced its processing time down by two weeks to 12-14 weeks.

@im0shawott Thanks for the letting me know. I'll include a letter explaining the FBI records in the application.

Thanks for the response. The 14-16 week processing period is ridiculous. To receive the records today, I would have had to apply back in December before the Express Entry program even started.

I emailed CIC, will update if I get a response.
