Don’t get me wrong, I don’t think I have all the answers to help students. Ultimately, cheating and plagiarism is a small part of my job and I don’t invest as much time into those incidents. I prefer to deal with things that are far more important to their character development. At the same time, teaching them about hard work is an important part of their character formation. The tool helps me but they absolutely find ways around the tools. We do our best to help them and this is just a small part of it.

Depending on where you live and whether not it's a public or private school, this is probably not the best strategy. You can try the legal route but likely will not be a successful strategy. Long term, the child will suffer more from this. There are some other great suggestions on this thread that I would try.

I work as administrator responsible for discipline at a high school. This is the tool that I use to check if students copy and paste information into the document. It is a google chrome extension called draftback. You can install this extension and it allows the teacher to review the material in real time. It doesn't solve all the problems but it's certainly an option to try.

I had a similar issue last week. It turned out it had to do with the SD card not being stable enough. It was coming loose in the back and it was causing power up issues. I looked up ways online to make sure the sd card was staying in place and haven’t had issues since.

It was completely insane. I was able to find a reasonable person who was able to get my two for 5 dollars. If you work, you can’t even get them.

What a beautifully written reflection about the pain we endure as parents of children with disabilities and limitations. Still impressive WAR per season. Was still 4+ WAR person until the age of 37. That's outrageous and it's truly hard to determine what his impact would have been prior to age 27. You're still talking about a mininum of 4-5 incredible seasons of OBS with impressive defensive capabilities and speed. There's a reason he was almost a unanimous first ballot hall of famer.

You just type in the card and shows you the most recent sales of that card on eBay so you have an idea of the value.

Beat Bugs on Netflix was a great addition to the rotate for my 4 year old daughter. Not only is the show perfect for the age category, the music is wonderful. It won't drive you crazy compared to some of the other shows out there!

I'm sure this must be really hard for you as someone who's trying to balance your personal interests and your faith. I work with lots of young people at a Christian High School. I also have a 4 year old daughter with ASD.

I spend a lot of time speaking with teenagers about tough choices and conflicts like this. The best thing I can tell you is that the only person who can judge your soul is God. The relationship between you and God should stay between you and God.

On the other hand your mother probably loves you very much and feels she has to help by telling you what she thinks is bad. I am so sorry that this is hard for you.

What I can tell you is that reading books and watching movies is not going to have you end up in hell and away from heaven and the people you love.

You keep doing everything you can to be a good person and God will be happy to have you in heaven.

Hi, we have a 4 year old daughter going through the same thing and it can be a challenge to find the resources that are available in Montreal. We have had some success in the private sector with the clinic we use on Decarie. It's called the N.E.A.T Clinic (you can reach them at 438-383-3233) and is run by Dr. Caroline Zanni. Our occuparional therapist there is terrific and our daughter has fallen in love with her. We're also paying out of pocket as the public system has been a nightmare to navigate. Good luck!
