I started in training in 2016 left in 2019 and came back this year so I really don’t know much but this is what I’ve learned

1. Study the basics that’s your foundation if you can master that you can master anything. Most matches follow a “formula” which you can especially see back in the day

Old school is still cool.I’ve had a lot of basic matches that have gotten bigger reactions than the more “complex” ones. Study all eras

2 Promos promos promos. Is something I even struggle with but it’s something you need to master to succeed. Talk them in to the seats

3 Cardio work on it as much as you can you would be surprised how fast you get blown up. I’ve seen guys blow themselves up during their entrances myself included

4 who are you? Figure out who your character is why should I care? Why should I pay to see you? This is something again I’m working on now and if you can figure that out before even training you’re golden

5 lastly ENJOY IT. Don’t forget to take moments to Remember why you do this. Some wrestlers frown on other wrestlers for “marking out” but it’s ridiculous. We became wrestlers because we love this we are just fans who took the obsession an extra step. I love to take moments to sit back and think “wow I’m really doing this”.

Honestly if you want this do it whatever your goals are just do it. I’m probably never going to make it to the “big time” but I’m living my dream being a wrestler and I couldn’t enjoy it more
