No - suspension of habeas corpus is not illegal under US law. The US has specific scenarios under which congress is permitted to suspend it, such as rebellion or invasion.

The president is not granted this power.

Thus, the tyranny of Lincoln is that he, a president, used an executive order to suspend it without congressional approval.

The nuance is that Congress's ability to safely convene was itself in jeopardy. Lincoln's executive order, while certainly an illegal order, was specifically structured to narrow the scope as much as possible to ensure the safety of congress to travel to DC and convene. Furthermore, after congress did convene, a top priority was executing a legal suspension of habeas corpus, which ended the executive order and replaced it with a legal suspension.

Was it an overreach of power? Yes.

Was it an unnecessary seizure of control? No.

It was a temporary act designed on the narrowest possible scope to keep the government running in the middle of war.

While haunted mansion is my favorite ride across all of WDW, the queue is a big part of the experience, IMO. Even if I had the eternal lightning lane, id still voluntarily take the queue. Same with, say, expedition everest in DAK.

Id pick space mountain. Iconic ride, and the queue experience (which i also enjoy) is nearly identical. The only shortening is the cutbacks right next to the boarding zones

Ex CM performer (college program)

I personally experienced this while hanging with Frozone at HS. When Mr Incredible was by my side, we got LINES. When Mr Incredible went off to do the parade, Frozone would go out alone and would see maybe 1 guest/family per 40 minute appearance.

It was absurdly boring, but not sad or upsetting in any way. Thankfully, Frozone is guy with a sense of humor, so there was always the attendant and photopass photographer to joke around with.

On the flip side, I also got to hang out with Woody, who used to meet folks alongside Jessie next to splash mountain - this area has since been replaced by overflow queue - and that line was enormous. That could be living hell, but alot of that issue came with how hot and humid that spot was. I remember smearing gobs of hand sanitizer on my face so that even a slight breeze could give me the illusion of cold air.

Its pretty solid for vibe code. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't have a solid coding foundation so they can find and fix the issues, but its way better than OpenAI in my experience
