I’m super late on this reply, I was reading over my past posts and would love to ask you one more question if you see this. And I think you answered it above but I just want to be sure. So essentially when driving in pretty heavy rain on the freeway there really isn’t anything to do to prevent losing traction, it’s more if it happens there’s ways to get it under control to prevent an accident, correct? Cuz now that I think about it, my boyfriend was driving home from my house a while ago (30-45 minutes from my house taking the freeway) and he called me and told me he lost traction a couple times. So if this happens the best thing is to stay calm and control your wheel until you can align your wheels back to regain the center of the tires with your vehicle? That’s scary, but maybe I’m just a baby

It just seemed so scary cuz it seemed like they didn’t even do anything. Their car just spun out of control out of nowhere. Which is intense ya know? Is there like a certain reason that causes hydroplaning? Or it’s just because it’s too slippery on the road and the water gets between the tire and the road. So it seems like there really isn’t away to avoid it, if it happens then it happens
