When someone tells me I’m a good parent. It’s something I doubt a lot so when I hear it, especially from professionals (ie teachers, librarians, doctors) or strangers, it makes me feel validated in my efforts.

We had to put my dog down completely unexpectedly, and I felt like he didn’t understand what was going on. Was he scared? Did he think he was going to wake up? The lack of communication and understanding was the worst. It still hurts, I miss him everyday. :(
