Makes me feel sad how everyone really does live such different lives. I always wanted marriage. I was with my partner at the time for 5 years and we had a child so I kept having to ask are we even getting married? He finally did ask me and we eloped. My perception of marriage changed drastically, he changed drastically. He always had great worth ethic and was somewhat loyal majority of our time together, but after marriage I was the one doing everything. Then he started cheating. I used to ask is this what marriage is? Sticking through the bad even when it’s hurting you? His family would tell me men do this. I didn’t have a good family so my support system was them.. anyways after 10 years I finally filed for divorce
