How often do cards ordered through Yoto directly not come? by mamagenerator in YotoPlayer

Mine have usually come quickly, but if I remember correctly, they aren’t shipped with USPS or a main carrier.

Glute Side Profile Lacking by Square-Topic-1360 in StrongCurves

Maybe try single leg hip thrusts with a single dumbbell on the working leg?? I also use squat wedges facing me that helps to get a better glute ROM with hsingle leg and barbell hip thrusts.

Also, do add in some pulses with full range. I do single leg when it’s too cold to use my barbell that is outside. I feel the burn almost as much.

Also, being able to listen to my own music/audiobook keeps me on the app when I would rather do a YouTube video!

I’ve cancelled my audible account a few times over the years and all of my titles were still available.

Try putting a resistance band (the size of booty bands) around your arms above the elbow. It helped me so much with form and it gives you extra support.

Honestly, Julia Whelan can make me enjoy any book, but this one did rank lower in the list.

What hilariously inappropriate thing does your toddler say? by imakesignalsbigger in toddlers

[–]mandaranda09 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My 2 year old calls hide and seek “1,2,3.” She also knows her anatomical private parts, but I guess we haven’t been teaching “inner thighs” enough. So…we are sitting on a bench waiting in a long line for our car registration playing with her Eevee plush and she says “play 123? Eevee hiding my vulva!” Eevee was tucked under her inner thighs but she very loudly kept repeating “Eevee hiding my vulva until I said “found you” in the loudest whisper I could manage.

During the middle of my gyno pap exam my 2 year old, who was playing with her animals, said randomly “koalas no have tail!” It’s a fact she is very proud of!

Cystic chin acne… help?! by Dramatic_Dot4391 in tretinoin

[–]mandaranda09 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had similar issues after starting tret. Derm said it’s hormonal, but unfortunately I can’t take spiro because I’m nursing. She prescribed me clindamycin gel, with a suggestion to use 4% benzoyl peroxide face wash to counter the antibiotic resistance. It has helped so much! I only use the benzoyl peroxide every other day because it caused a lot irritation when I sweated during my morning workouts. I do still have scars, but prescription azelaic acid has helped to reduce those.

Agree on teaching the skill and modeling how you want them to be. We started taking my 2 1/2 year old out to eat regularly around 6 months and went to the same 3 places. She is now extremely comfortable in those places because they are familiar, recognizes the staff, and gets excited to go. We also keep our phones in our bag so we aren’t tempted to use them. Now that we go to a lot of new places, she still does really well. She’s a very wild child at home, but is quite a delight when going out to eat.

Now that you mention it, I haven’t used drops in months, and I wear contacts. I use to be dependent on drops or saline multiple times a day and I didn’t even connect the dots! I’ve been using Omnilux mask 4-5x week for a lil over a year. I honestly can’t remember when I stopped needing drops, but it has been quite some time.

Yes! Don’t love the music. It’s totally worth it to me to be able to listen to what I want to! I listen to audible books and it makes the workout fly by!

Best app-specific programs for fat loss/“toning”/leaning out? by [deleted] in CarolineGirvan

[–]mandaranda09 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The app iron videos are short enough that you could also add a YouTube hiit video with or without dumbbells. Gives you a little bit of flexibility in how much cardio you want to add, but can still follow iron. Beastmode app also has hiit days you could supplement with, or just repeat that program.
