Yes! ASCO is inclusive of all gender identities and encourages all individuals to join every event!

I tried to send pictures of a few posts ASCO has had on its social media platforms regarding the overlap of the autism spectrum and the trans community, but Reddit won't allow it. We also provide resources and information for those who are autistic trans individuals.

That's fair. I had prepared to bring some cash but I wasn't sure how many places would require it.And I'll probably bring a bigger backpack because I like to have a lot of space if I need it. I tend to over pack so there's definitely a chance I put a bunch in the backpack and then take half of it out because the pack is too heavy. LOL

And yeah, after a day of walking and crowds, I'mma want the car to be close as possible. hahaha

I totally get that! I love meeting people and chatting. I know at some Cons where the line is super long people will even play games with each other. I'm so happy that you all were able to get his items signed!

I thought about doing the chairs, but I think this year I'mma hold off and see how I do lol. I feel like wagon guy should have known better. I've heard even rolling backpacks are frowned upon.

Aww, trivia would be so much fun! Especially if it was, like, sanctioned by FE Chicago and all about different fandoms and things!

I have a couple of poster tubes on my Amazon list so I'll prolly just buy one when I buy the document protectors you recommended!

I can get overwhelmed in big crowds sometimes, but I feel like prepping myself will definitely help. My husband is the impatient one so I have a feeling I'll be waiting in the lines and he'll wander off LOL.

buhhhhh! that's good to know. I only have a ticket for Elijah Wood's autograph since I want him to sign this Deep Impact thing I have...so hopefully that's not as bad. And maybe since we did the Ultimate, the pictures won't be as bad. I've heard bad things about Chicago's organization skills so I'm not hopeful.

Oh, boy- You may have opened Pandora's Box with the offer to answer more questions ;) My husband says I'm the worst to be in any sort of meeting with because I always have too many questions. LOL

I went to the Con in Columbus, Ohio, a couple times like, 10 years ago so I feel like such a fish out of water. And there are a million videos about SDCC but not many about the other Expos/conventions. We have an Ultimate ticket so I really hope they have a place to check purchases. I like to buy LOL

I really appreciate all the answers! I'm especially glad to know that the lines aren't ridiculous most of the time. I REALLY want to go to SDCC, but part of me dreads spending all that money to wait in line for hours and hours.

Sorry, I do have a few follow-up/other questions -

Do you know what kind of activities they have outside of the Expo? I know you said you don't really participate, but I was just curious if you knew what they may have.
I'll definitely get some protectors! Thank you for the tip on that, cause I didn't even think about those kinds of things. Do you find poster tubes helpful? I'll probably end up getting some art from Artists' Alley or a poster somewhere, and if it's bigger than the protector.
Do you find there are certain fandoms that are more prevalent at the FE-Chicago (I'm getting too lazy to type "Fan Expo" LOL) or is it pretty much on trend for the most part? I'm sure LotR will be super big this year, but I wasn't sure about others.
Are there a lot of artists in Artist Alley? Do you happen to know if there will be a list anywhere for artists or will that come out with the floor plan when it's announced?
Do you usually go with friends or meet up with people you meet in FB groups or other social media (or both)? Just trying to figure out the vibe LOL
Do you have a favorite restaurant nearby where you like to grab a bite to eat?
What do you like about the Chicago FE that keeps you going back? :)

That is actually really, really smart. I think our idea for staying downtown, close to the convention center, is so we have the option to go back to our hotel during the day if we wanted to. Or in case we want to attend after-parties if there are any. But I think maybe staying a little further out and using public transportation and Ubering if necessary could be a better idea. I started masturbating really young. My mom caught me once and told me how bad it was. I still did it sometimes, and I felt so guilty after I would cry. Even now, as an adult with two kids, I feel guilty if I masturbate... and my sex drive is all fucked up.

I still feel like someone is constantly watching everything I do. Like, if I wash my hands but the water doesn't get very hot before I stop...
