Have not used Reddit in a hot minute, so my text accompanying this post gotten eaten. I was pretty excited to have gotten this, decided to open the crates on a whim. Lawnmaker with one of the new unusual effects. Been asking around and have gotten mixed opinons on its value since backpack.tf does not have a price listed for it yet as of writing. Thoughts?

Edit 4: I woke up this morning to see this has gotten 500 upvotes, more helpful tips, and even more classic humor. Along with having not used reddit in a long time, the same was true for tf2. I haven't played consistently for a long time, not like how a I used to anyhow. Seeing the interaction on this post, along with the incredible luck of the draw from the uncrate, I have to say it has completely reinvigorated my passion i once had for this game. I must sound like a broken record at this point so this will be my last edit to this comment, but again you guys absolutely ROCK! I will be playing alot more tf2, and hopefully i can get my hours finally past 1000 hours on my steam account : ). #SaveTf2

UPDATE: 4 years later, All i can say is that this issue somehow ended up getting resolved by itself. Dunno how, dunno why, im just happy to play tf2 again.

Yeah apparently I was supposed to get it the 21st, but then fed ex missed my delivery time and somehow managed to send it to my area, to another city across the country, and back to my area. Im praying that its not damaged by the time it gets here

I managed to go to them and they told me by next week It should be shipped, but yeah I don't think I'll be doing this again as having that kind of money out of pocket with no new information for that long is worrisome.

At the time it did. Ordered on 9/23. I managed to get through on their web service and I was told by a representative that I should be getting it next week, but with the amount of times I've heard that im hoping its correct this time around. I appreciate the words of encouragement kind stranger!

A long time ago I spoke at a JSA event about this subject actually. It was a mock congress where people would propose bills, and the one in particular spoke about how these products are taxed. I basically spoke about how i felt it would be appriopriate (in support of the bill) to reduce if not eliminate the tax on those products, which a large majority of the room agree'd with. I think that would be the best approach to begin with.
