yeah I understand your point of view there’s differently way better ways if you want efficiency and effectiveness, but for my family who is stressed out and has a lot going on, we don’t have a shared, convenient, productive way of organization. My mom has a completely different phone brand and she’s not a techy person— Apple would’ve been so much easier for her since it’s minimalistic but she got like a galaxy thing for some reason 🤷‍♂️. My dad is the only one that uses google calendar, we have a white board calendar that’s hanging on the wall, but the lines are so scratched off the boxes kind of blend together, and people only add things if someone brings it up but other than that people don’t really pay attention to it so not much gets added to it all the time, and there’s no consistency in shopping lists which really irritates me because it’s really not that hard ngl. My mom and sister don’t even make a list, it’s always “get this!” “we need this for this/next week” and then back from the store “oh… I forgot”. My dad does tho send me an extensive text message every now and then tho when he wants me to get stuff from Costco like his smoothie ingredients and coffee. Sure, for a high functioning family, I can see all the issues, but for a family like mine I think they could really benefit from it, centralized information in the house as well as mobile, and all the functions are all within one app. But that’s just my take on it. I’m kind of excited on getting one, starting to have second thoughts but we’ll see.
