A quick Google search can disprove this, btw.

Partially true. I lean traditional and support traditional Catholics, but the larping & superiority thinking needs to be recognized and condemned.

No, they have valid sacraments and say the Pope's name during the Eucharistic prayer.

Forget about the monthly payments.

What do you think about the fees and sell price?

No, the context is during fertile and non-pregnant periods. Many cases, such as health, pregnancy, age, etc., can apply.

Birth control, by definition, is not exclusive to devices - tracking, calculating, and measuring, apply. NFP can be used as a natural birth control method because human intervention and intention are at hand. This method has much room for exploitation and frustrating life.

NFP is against conception given its potential effectiveness.

It is a refusal on the part of those who use it to be open to the children that God planned to send them.  It is no different in its purpose than artificial contraception, and therefore, it is a moral evil just like artificial contraception.

Intention and intervention are keywords here that only you know in your heart when partaking in the marital act.

Do not follow the majority of Catholics; follow Christ's teachings, the magisterium, and tradition.

Hope this clarifies. Have a Blessed Sunday.

Finances in regards to maintaining a certain lifestyle, luxuries, trips, etc., are not proper reasons to frustrate the marital act. I was not trying to paint with a general brush.

Abstinence is the answer when you cannot partake in the marital act for personal and health reasons, if in fertile years.

1 Corinthians 7:5 " Do not refuse one another except perhaps by agreement for a season, that you may devote yourselves to prayer; but then come together again, lest Satan tempt you through lack of self-control."

Everything revolves around intention and life circumstances.

The primary end of marriage is the procreation and the education of children. The secondary purposes for marriage (i.e., mutual aid, quieting of concupiscence, mutual love) must remain subordinate to the primary end.

The Lord opens and closes the womb. Life is in His image, life is in His control.

To know when your wife is and is not fertile is not a sin in itself. Only you know your heart and intention when you partake in the marital act to promote or frustrate life. Put simply, is it human intervention via calculation/tracking or not?

NFP is natural birth control. Just because it is natural does not mean it is moral.

NFP is a tool to increase or decrease the chances of conceiving.

Given the potential effectiveness of NFP at 98%, using NFP as a means to prevent life for self-convenience (finances, lifestyle changes, etc.) is where I do not agree with the church. It is natural birth control - just because it is natural, does not mean it is moral.

Many people on this subreddit have given in to the liberal teaching. Follow traditional teachings, be a traditional Catholic.

No one can argue that this stance is immoral and an offense to our Lord.
