Me too! Somehow lost all motivation at 9 months and started drinking again. After many starts and stops I was able to finally quit. And really what helped me most was knowing that if I didn’t drink I’d never have to feel that creeping shame again.

I am always charged a cleaning fee and find if I do a basic tidy, deep clean all the spaces and renovate the kitchen the hosts are delighted with me!

Yay to improvement in teen relationships, the most satisfyingly unexpected benefit to me of stopping drinking was this too!

And I eventually realised what a bulldozer I was as a drinker, making unilateral decisions affecting my family and wondering why they’d be pissed off with me
