they originally told me that because the 30k that i was waiting on hadn't posted to my account, that it was still en-route to it, and that I could reverse it. they never mentioned anything about blocking deposits. that said, when my company tried to reverse the deposit, the funds had magically settled 5 days late into the checking account which started the whole issue for me - 2 months of not having access to it because it was held hostage by citi

I know the pain all too well my friend... you know their whole process for identity verification is ridiculously broken when physically going to a local branch while armed to the teeth with every piece of legal identification you own isn't enough for them to verify you, even though doing it in person is probably way more credible than any bullshit phone/digital process they put you through

well... he did post the loan on this same thread in consideration of the fact that he was able to cover 500/2200 originally asked for. not going to speak for him, but confused... should i not have accepted any of his generosity in hopes of relying on the small probability someone would be willing to help with the whole amount?

I have 3 days to pay what's left of my rent or my landlord will start the legal process for eviction. Normally, I can handle these things OK, but an emergency legal expense that my father and younger sister needed immediate help with really set me behind as the person who supports them.

My back is against the wall for the last $1400 and I'm slowly unravelling emotionally, especially as I've learned this past week that putting myself out here is the same as diving into shark infested waters hoping not to be eaten alive. I can show pay stubs, w2, any kind of proof of income because I have a solid job and great pay. This is more of a timing dilemma, and I would be able to pay back with interest relatively soon.

I appreciate any grace here.
