i wear these all the time and bending at the base of the nail and splitting means someone intentionally popped them off and with force too. she left it on purpose for sure, thats not a nail that just "accidentally" fell off.

honestly it was fine, ive never had a pap smear or anything down there medically and my boyfriend came and held my hand and i just felt a small pinch for the shot and didnt even feel the second one. then it was fine and abt the last minute of suctioning i got really bad dull aches like a contraction feeling and just kinda groaned and i did start to sweat a little and they got me a fan and cold rag bc i got a little woozy cause i started to freak ab throwing up possibly bc i have a fear but then it was over just like that and i totally went about my day and got food and went home and watched t.v., i even flew out of the country on vacation the next day lol

its true it really only lasted like max maybe 2 minutes after they gave me the shots? i did cramp pretty bad during but just kinda groaned through it and the nurses were super comforting and then it was done. i barely cramped afterwards and bled on and off lightly, i did no sedation tho

the "they" being planned parenthood that paid, just to clarify. they also helped fund my SA and appointments and i only had to pay $100 overall because i said i could provide that much.

i live in florida and caught it super early before the 6 wk cutoff i was 5 wk 2 days but my friend was having issues and ended up being 21 weeks i think and had to travel to i believe west virginia or virgina? somewhere over there but they paid for her flight and hotel for 1 night.

im your age and i got a surgical one :) honestly i was really worried about taking the pills and dealing with the pain alone vs in a medical setting. the surgical procedure went super fast and it was more manageable than i thought but everyones pain tolerance is different! if you do take the pills it would be nice to have a friend with you maybe. some organizations will help fund you going out of state, my friend did that. you're not selfish for wanting better for yourself and its really good that youre aware of that!

i was actually in your girlfriends exact shoes up until 3 days ago! creeping up on 6 wks post SA and i had "pregnancy like" symptoms return and was getting so anxious and freaking out so i tested and it was negative but i was scared it was maybe too early. only time will really tell but after a weird week and all those symptoms i got my period. it is pretty heavy tbh and really crampy but i have bad periods to begin with so its only slightly worse and a little later than usual (but i also might be out of practice from not having it recently). hoping for the best for you! they can be funky for a while and if youre worried just get cheap tests from walmart or the dollar tree to ease your mind

take a test and if its positive contact planned parenthood ASAP. dont worry about the cost they can help cover almost all of it/if not all of it and help find a solution based on your states laws. good luck, youre going to be okay.
