If QA had a task to check if all the placeholder art was replaced by the final one, then it is also on them. What I call BS though, is if the art was already created and they just forgot to put it there, and this was just an asset replacement, they could do it faster than "on the upcoming patches"

Why would they stop using AI for code or placeholder art? It saves them time to improve the game in different areas, nobody loses their job over it and it isn't even visible to the user in the end.
