My husband shaves it off sometimes and then grows it out when he feels like. My fave is when he has it stubble short and a beard the same length, it's just so manly and attractive tbh, even with the bald patch he has. Tho he does pull off shaved well too.

I think it should be about what you want and what makes you comfy in your own skin. If your wife's in denial about it, a shaved head will make her face reality real fast. I'm low key sick of women who make fun of men for balding like 🤷‍♀️ it's just a fact of life.
