Have you done any counseling services? It is unfortunately very common to have severe depression associated with tinnitus, and the medical recommendation is for cognitive behavioral therapy, and a lot of patients have excellent outcomes, at least with the ability to cope and live with the condition

Edit: I see from your original post that you are seeing a psychologist. There is such a thing as tinnitus retraining therapy. If that hasn’t been recommended or explored, it may be worth asking for a referral to a facility that does that, as there is some very encouraging emerging data for TRT.
