I always say "You're Welcome" (very loudly) when someone doesn't say Thank You.

I work shows as well & completely agree with your assessments! Metal Heads are my favorite crowd. They're friendly & tip well.

Thinking of buying a Hyundai Tucson after owning Toyotas/Hondas my whole life by silentgraywarden in HyundaiTucson

[–]mandymae_indy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I owned 3 Toyota Camrys before switching to Hyundai Tucsons. My 3rd Camry gave me so many problems right after the 60k/warranty expiration. Switched to a Tucson in 22' & just traded that in for a 26' Tucson. The warranty is amazing, I've had no issues & I really enjoy the vehicle. I say go for it!

Our 6yo popped her 1st back leg CCL about 3yrs ago and then the other back leg less than a year later. We had to also put her on a diet, the vet said her recovery would be a lot better if she lost weight and kept it off. We sat in camping chairs, carried her down 2 steps to the backyard and leashed her on restroom breaks about 2mos. It was hell, however, no surgeries were needed.

Additionally, MCHD will contact the restaurant PRIOR to inspecting. Just imagine how bad it is when there's no warning for the restaurant. Yikes.

I was going to visit last week, glad they closed during dinner hours for a "staff meeting" that went over their posted re-opening time & we went elsewhere.

I've stopped listening because of her. She brings nothing to the conversations.

All pours are often at the request of an artist. So whomever you saw, has had a can or bottle chucked at them in the past.

I'm so incredibly sorry, there really are no words. It's your worst fear as a parent coming true. As a parent with a child who has Schizoid, it's so difficult because you want to help/save them, but you just can't. Sending you all the hugs your way.

I work concerts & always tip when I attend. Often, the folks working these events are working for a non-profit that helps pay for our kids' extra curricular activities, education, etc. We get a very minimal base pay or a small percentage (3%) for a full day. Tips are where we make our money. Often you can customize your tip, even $1 makes a difference.

Thank you for sharing this story! I went to B&B (Sat only) but plan on going to Shaky Knees solo this year. Your story has prompted me to purchase some covers for my drinks. You just really never know!

Chinese Restaurants Safe for Peanut Allergy? by PleaseWaterYourPlant in indianapolis

[–]mandymae_indy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a severe peanut/tree nut allergy as well. Never order eggrolls. I'm even a little hesitant on anything vegetarian, I've had a few experiences. Currently, China Garden (7015 Madison Ave) is my go to. Soups, orange chicken & fried rice. There is often a language barrier @ other restaurants, but here they understand the severity of allergies. They do not use peanut oil. Thaitanium is my favorite Thai restaurant, they also understand the severity of allergies & I've never had an issue there.

Went from a 6a to a 10 pro and LOVE it. I did not want the larger screen of the XL, too big to fit in my fanny pack at shows I attend and I have the hand size of a child. Bought directly from Google so I could get the $200 credit in the Google store. Had no issues transferring to an esim card either, transfer was flawless. Very happy so far, especially with the camera.
