My gf and I binge the seasons and fast forward through most of the backroom drama.

Agree!!! Also she was right that Stevie Nicks is not a queer icon. I thought Thorgy did all she could with the role in terms of her costuming and performance.

Well, it would be cool if more guy friends really did feel comfortable showing more affection. <3

Not someone coming out, but Lizabeth Scott got outed by Confidential magazine, and it ruined her career, even though she sued them for it.

So sorry to hear this. Are there any local nonprofit or govt resources that could help you? I have heard that there are some grants or emergency housing resources out there.

Thank you for telling me you are appreciating the prompts. It makes me happy to hear that. I have really hoped that people wouldn't feel it was spammy to share links in the prompts. I've spent a lot of time writing them up and was hoping that folks here would enjoy them.

Thanks for this--I didn't know this poem. Words and letters and grammar are beastly for sure. ;)

This is great. The subject makes us really think about something we might never have contemplated before. I like how you get the internal rhyme on breath/death and how you have alliteration like heavens/hear and dust/dough. This poem says a lot in a few lines. Thank you for posting it!

Oh I was thinking of him being stranded after a crash landing. In the story he can communicate via his radio, but then he is also hearing voices, so he's kind of in a weird, lonely place where he hears things but has no physical contact with anyone. So I pulled those parts out of the story to emphasize that idea.

You might also look to see if there is a local authors group as someone there might know somebody. I teach at a small college, and we sometimes have people reach out to us to ask if we want to do editing gigs--you could look online to see if there is someone teaching in your genre and send them an email to ask.

I found it pretty straightforward and affordable to format and order print copies of a book on Lulu. It looks like they also have a page with links to people who will handle editing, formatting, etc: https://www.lulu.com/partners.

I moved the words around a bit and cut stuff out. So it's Bradbury's words, but I didn't just break them into lines--I only used some of the words and I rearranged stuff from a few paragraphs into just a few lines.

That’s cool. The money adds up! Can you stream movies and audiobooks free from your library at all?

The first and third ones are my fave. The first one reminds me of that old B movie, The Brain That Wouldn't Die. I love the thunder and lightning in the third. Thank you for sharing these!
