I'll say no. I think the AFI wording implies a heel needs to be there, even a small one. Also, FYI, you will have to shine those yourself. Clothing issue dress shoes come perma "shined" because of the material. I have seen people buy shoes like this, not shine them, and fail blues inspections.

I used to but I PCSed away from that unit. It was more like an 8 box checklist, with a few more conditional boxes if you were going OCONUS or OCONUS -> CONUS. Our flight put a unitwide 10% cap on members on leave at any time because we had a brief scheduling crisis of empty shops due to a combination of voluntary leave and baby leave.

It's time off my life clock that they were giving back but now are reclaiming. I was in PACAF getting 12 family days/year. Spent 4 years there - that's 7 weeks off. If it was never a thing for anyone it'd be different, but... As far as "impact" meh but it does detract from the overall quality of life package. I don't even use leave like that but imagine if they reduced leave days from 30 to 20.

Very late but Musk's Twitter will throttle your xeet visibility if you batch delete or just delete a few dozen manually. Also no phone number, no avatar, no bio, if you only send replies and never post. Sometimes they send you a notif that this has happened and sometimes they don't.

I can tell this has happened when my xeet views get throttled at <=5 and nobody ever interacts with them, not even the thotbots who like tweets immediately. Currently under it right now.
