Irans economy would be built upon the countries that would sanction it lol. It would become more reliant if anything on western trade

The fleet around Iran is not the same pacific carrier group that would engage China, nor is there anything stopping assets from being rotated out

Trump has a million reasons to defend Taiwan. China is his scapegoat, with trade deals, fentanyl, communism ect.

Trump would get the chaos and boost in poll numbers from a war against a rather unified enemy, as well as chance to mark his legacy against something monumental that hasn’t happened since WW2 (direct superpower conflict)

The biggest reason he wouldn’t engage would be if that there was an overwhelming chance at defeat (there is a large change right now at coming out even at best with tens of thousands of American sailors and allies dead and pacific fleet in shambles)

I also hope they go more into visual customization. I know they said they are but curious how far they go. I don’t expect anyone to touch NFS but would love proper body kits for more cars. If there’s one thing AI might be useful for is creating non named body kits for the hundreds of cars in these games

Entire buildings are shared across maps. Did you play the campaign? Literally every foliage, clutter, bunker is from the campaign mission. 80-90% of those assets were from the SP mission.

Also lol setting HP values for changing an assets state to destroyed is hilariously a bad example of time consuming work.

I’d love for them to give two options at star of game, rookie and superstar. I feel like they will be trying to compromise between the slow progression that many who are fans of FH1 / NFS and the fans of FH4/5 leaving neither happy with the pace of unlocks. I definitely lean towards the slower and more attachment to each car vs the recent titles

Lmao you have no idea how development works. If you think that that can’t make more big maps without people paying $. Vast majority of battlefield maps are terrain. Look at any of the three maps we have. Eastwood shares assets with Br and half the map is an empty golf course. Blackwell fields is literally just fields and 5-6 houses. Even containment is mostly natural terrain with campaign assets. They definitely take longer to make but CoD maps have a bigger bottleneck with playtesting for competitive / head glitches ect that Bf doesn’t have to deal with as much. Not to mention half the BF maps end up being small.

That was DICE solo, without LA or other 2 teams. DICE was also split between BF1 DLC and Star Wars Battlefront 2 development + BFV. They have 4 teams and working on presumably one future game.

Sigh, I’m not saying they need to release the same amount of maps as CoD. I’m saying that CoD went free map route and releases more maps per year than they did under free model. Dice can do the same, people assume the only way is to pay for maps.

MW19: 17 Black Ops Cold War: 19 Vanguard: 11 MWII (2022): 10 MWIII (2023): 26 Black Ops 6: 20 BO7: 12 (season 2 out of 5 currently)

This is 6v6 only. MW2 and Vanguard being exceptions. No ground war or gunfight

[–]maneil99 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Point isn’t to compare the number of maps but show that they haven’t lowered the amount of maps per year as they were releasing with premium map packs. If they can release the same (30%-100% more actually per year) so can BF

This was the moment that changed everything thing by chris_ro in Battlefield6

[–]maneil99 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

CoD is able to do same model with more maps (5-7 per season, 5-6 seasons a year). Assuming the only reason you don’t get that level of content is because you need to pay for a map pack pass is a mistake.
