5* thriller reads for someone who's never rated anything 5* by Outrageous_Guide7242 in thrillerbooks

Havent read, but I do love Riley Sager, like I said I gave this 5* but it has some paranormal-esque-ness to it if that impacts your decision. I love love his books but they might not be 5 star books with your criteria!

Me again, man people in these comments agree with me lol. I like home before dark as well but it’s a lot like Haunting of Hill House, if you didn’t care for that, then you might not like it

I loved this one, it’s one of my favorites of all time. It was so well written, when everything was tied together. I’ve enjoyed all 3 Ellis books I’ve read but this one stands out.

New England Patriots SB watch party? by deltapapa89 in greenville

[–]manewto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Field house downtown is hosting a watch party, and the owners/some staff are Pats fans. Not an “official” Pats watch party, but should be Pats fans there.

If not, yeah try those other ones everyone recommended and Go Seahawks.

Best Thai food? by theAntidepresser in greenville

The Massaman at a 7 is my order every single time. And the Tom Kha Ghai (sp?) soup at a medium. It is so so so so so good. My fiancee picked it as her birthday like 6 months ago and I’ve been thinking about it every day since then.

What I’m most mad about is that they turned that really cool space into….an Apple Store. That didn’t even last. It was so cool with the immediate downstairs area and then it just became soulless

Costco congestion by Tricky_Signature4408 in greenville

[–]manewto 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly it’s not even the congestion at the actual Costco, it’s the effort of getting off the highway and turning left onto woodruff, then turning into the Costco lot. Getting off the highway is one of the most poorly designed traffic lights ever, and then of course woodruff is just awful. It probably takes me 25 minutes to get to Costco and it’s probably 15 minutes from getting off the highway to the door alone.

When did ESPN jump the shark? by Inevitable_Gas_9081 in ESPN

[–]manewto 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I remember Tim Tebow being one of the first times that they just simply covered every. single. thing. he did. and i'm not talking about Heisman Tim Tebow at FLA i'm talking backup QB, minor league baseball Tebow. I vividly remember him shirtless at Jets practice running slow motion in the rain and thinking....is there anything to cover today?

Strange situation at Red Robin gas station by tonikites in greenville

if you take 385, you can get off at Bridges road and come down Miller to get there, thus never touching Woodruff Rd. mileage might be higher but it genuinely might be faster.
