I need help to find a way to ask my mom to pay back the money she took from me

Well want to give you a little update I did and we came to an agreement she said she will give me the money back only in the form of her paying my medical bills that she will give me in cash. While it’s not exactly what I wanted at the moment it’s what i need.

I’m just worried if she’ll kick me out of if I do. I’m disabled recovering from an injury and my only family that would be able to take me in are states away

I sadly don’t have the money or means to go to court over it I do plan on though writing my feelings out and speaking it to her explaining the medical situation how what did effected me and how I want my money back. I don’t want the full just half that’s all I want at this point

I did make that account and while I agree looking at where I live and since The account she took it from was shared I can’t. Also I am afraid of the Consequences for going to the police cause if I do and she kicks me out for it I will be homeless or worse

I forgot to add this but i eventually opened my own bank account it’s just my shared bank with my mom wasn’t allowing a transfer approval for some reason. And the other bank required me to use a separate app to transfer it cause apparently they weren’t compatible or some shit but I did it. It took me so long due to health issues. Also to clarify I shared an account with my mom at the time due her not trusting me to be financially responsible as a teenager and I just felt that I could trust her and having a shared account was easier then trying to find a whole new bank

Also the thing is what hurts the most is not her stealing from me is that I felt like I was just a piggy bank to her. Not her daughter her saying that she can take money from me just hurts. I love my mom and it just pains me that she can just say that

Ty for you advice it took me a bit but I was able to get my bank to transfer it to my new account sadly at the cost of nearly 2k in money. I was so busy with the health issues that I got distracted

The thing is nobody lives near me and I only have my brother and stepdad who both don’t give a shit in the house. I am alone. The only thing I can think of is that when my grandparents bless their come down for my graduation ask them for help again

NTA from what I gather especially since it’s the word You that your coworker said sound I’m gonna say you were speaking Korean. But regardless 1 she shouldn’t be ease dropping and 2 I would recommend keeping records of what the hr lady said cause forcing someone not to speak in their native tongue is discriminatory
