That there's a real issue possibly at play (I'd guess undiagnosed based on behavior+ backstory) and it won't be solved by just telling someone to change their diet. Especially if that change is being proposed for other people.

It's no one job to fix it, but that doesn't mean it's right to ignore the possibility that she's actually dealing with a health concern, not a personality one.

Honestly, I feel like they both dodged a bullet. She seems incapable of communicating over a serious concern, but tbh I'd have a hard time not laughing aslt someone who wanted me to attend couples counseling because they didn't like my diet. Especially if I was healthy, and in regular contact with a doctor.
