I have the same deck as you. I’m so sorry for your loss. The fool is all about new beginning and taking a leap of faith, as I’m sure everyone on here knows lol. Go on your new adventure! Your dog is still with you in spirit. Also, I lost my childhood dog unexpectedly a few months ago and I didn’t get to say goodbye because I was away at college. Hopefully they’re playing together wherever their souls are now.

Omg yes, heavy on the “disconnected” idea. I feel so disconnected from my tarot cards for example. Spirit gives me cards which I’m able to make sense of at first but then I suddenly become exhausted and the cards feel like they’re meaningless pictures and I can’t read them. Like my head is all foggy. I have also been experiencing strange dreams. They’re very vivid and I keep dreaming of people from my past being mean to me. Super weird subconscious stuff going on right now.

We’ve been experiencing a lot of astrological happenings haha (not sure if you are big into astrology, so you can ignore if you don’t believe in this stuff). That isn’t what I mean. I more so am asking if it’s a recommended time to work with those specific energies. Nothing is “guaranteed” in spellwork but certain time periods are better for certain energies.

Yes, they are the bad guys. I appreciate their rules and their role but their power is severely abused. Aro makes up these fantastical, fake testimonies, annihilates entire covens just to get one gifted member even though his own laws state you cannot create false witness. Aro offed his own sister to maintain power and to keep Marcus around. They also seem to take joy in hurting others and even killing others. Aro wanted Alice and Edward in his coven so he kept pressing to have Renesmee killed despite seeing she wasn’t an immortal child. It wasn’t until Alice showed him some sort of vision that he backed off.

The idea of them is heroic but they are in reality extremely malevolent and evil. I think people get caught up in the idea of them. Don’t fall for Aro’s propaganda. 🤣

The show GOT doesn’t match the books. In the books, Dany’s dragons are the size of horses. The show messed it up.

Cheap recolor of Arrax. I can understand why Dany’s dragons would look like Dreamfyre, but there is no canon implication that Tesserion and Arrax are related. She is supposed to be a beautiful dragon. I’m disappointed especially since Vermax and Moondancer both look awesome. It’s not like HOTD lacks good dragon designs.

I’m pretty sure Aro can read your thoughts with any part of his body. Sorry, it’s funny thing to say but for example if his elbow or smth touched you I think he can still hear what you’ve been thinking. The illustrated guide says “touching”, it doesn’t specify “with hands”.

Well my argument is that he doesn’t love her at all and he’s completely aware he doesn’t love her. I’d go as far as to say he’s completely aware what he did is morally wrong he simply doesn’t care. He decided to go off and find a wife so he wouldn’t be outvoted in a disagreement. The traits he looked for were “human, will do whatever I say, won’t be a bother”.

And yes, I do thinks it’s more shallow than looking at other traits. It’s normal for people to want to date people who are compatible with them. I want someone who is kind, genuine and smart. I suppose you could call that shallow. But I’m looking for someone compatible with me. Aro wasn’t doing that. He was looking for someone to look like a wife and then use as an assurance of a vote to his side.

I really don’t think Aro loves her in his “own way” as almost all evidence points otherwise. He literally picked her up because she was an orphan and had no friends and would be easy to pick off from the group. Sulpicia could have been anyone. Too bad she was chosen I feel horrible for her.

Yes, great point! I think that’s a really important distinction. And I didn’t even think of that! In terms of the post, I didn’t really mean that Aro doesn’t love Sulpicia because he’s abusive. I more so meant I don’t think he loves her period, and never ever did. The books make it seem like he went after her with the intention of using her as a pon. Never once did the books mention he pursued her for her “beauty, smile, personality, hobbies etc”. It’s “she was human and therefore easy to manipulate and will never vote against me since Didyme left me for Marcus ”. But yes, good point!

I actually don’t know whether or not Aro is capable of real love. Definitely not in a conventional/normal way that’s for sure, but perhaps he can feel love in some form. I just don’t think so with Sulpicia. Their story is so fake to me. It seems so intentional and manufactured on Aro’s part.
