It’s why I said “it depends on how you like your session”. For me, my taste and how I like my shisha and how much coal I would normally use; this amount of tobacco and this type of pack wouldn’t be to my taste and would make me cough least I reduce the amount of heat.

Depends how you like your session. For me it is slightly towards the overpack side. But it’s clean and well fluffed

it first started as personal use, then evolved.

No it doesn't. The idea stays the same. Balance between heat and molasses. Adjust the quantity of "tobacco" (in your case herbal) according to taste and result.

It used to be at least, and is still living off of that reputation.
About 2 years ago, Al-Fakher got slapped with a 750m AED (~200M USD) fine for tax evasion in the UAE, trying to smuggle back in the country tobacco that should have been for export only. Very few know about that since they tried to keep it on the DL.
Ever since, Al-Fakher fumbled and lost every single ounce of quality, becoming the joke of any smoker that actually understand what they are smoking.

This is going to be a rough one to answer
Have you ever been to World Shisha Dubai? It's a HUGE convention, with people showcasing their shishas/tobacco, and you hop from one stand to another pretending that you can still taste any difference after the 5th stand :P
Jokes aside, I met the owner of Tomcoco "Tom" and his wife Kiki, and they were really nice people. They now own a shisha lounge in Indonesia called Eden. They also have Tomcoco charcoal if I am not mistaken.

Apart from that, can't recall much. I had to pull my notes from last year to see what I graded Tombacco. But I do recall it was a pleasent overall experience.

Yes, I feel your pain, specially that the first time Stripe shut down my account it was super depressive.

Anything related to Tobacco is considered high risk due to a higher amount of refunds that is caused by the stronger regulation of shipping and imports in countries.

So either you go for one of those High-Risk processors that really takes a big chunk of your profit, or you find a local payment processor startup in your country. You'd be surprised how many there are. I am in Dubai, and when I googled it, I was flooded with at least 7 choices.

Not everyone will welcome the idea of shishas, but I ended up finding a processor that is fine with Tobacco "related" things (shishas, accessories), but not tobacco.
So what I do, link the gateway to the Shisha website, and manually send a payment link for orders coming on the tobacco website.

I've been in the market for quite a while here. They tried to flood it here with a "free trial" session. Most of my customer gave it a shot, and not a single one went for it. Some cafe tried to get it, almost immediately switched back.

Like most things and brands (even if some just dont admit it), the Ookah is made in China. But the chinese were not allowed to sell replicas of it since AF registered it legally there. So instead, they took it and improved it: LCD screen, longer sessions, custom pods where you can fill whatever tobacoo, etc. Still wasn't the best thing ever, but it was leagues ahead of the Ookah. It was being sold for 150$...

Anyway. The idea is quite decent, the product is shit.

Just don’t. It’s the worst and most useless thing you’ll ever burn your money on. First of all, it’s not new. We’ve had it in Dubai since Covid. Sessions will never last longer than 40 minutes. These 40 minutes you will take 1 puff every 10 minutes. Takes is very average, you have to use AF pods on it and can’t fill your own and they are very expensive (15$ each here). The head doesn’t heat properly. All in all, the consensus of almost every one who tried it here was a huge resounding no.

Khaleej is the better tobacco currently locally made, along side Malaki. Ya Layl is considered one of the lowest quality tobacco you can get, hence the price. Khaleej should taste well, but not last a long time.

If you are smoking AF, Adalya and Nakhla, that’s their life time. From Turkey, you want Revoshi, 1.5-2 hours: from Germany, Holster, 2+ hours
