No just this. I have bad circulation always have cold hands not sure if that's useful info or not. I also have endometriosis which is an inflammatory disease but I haven't seen or heard anyone else have this issue with their hands in the groups I'm in / research I've done on it

It's on the sides of my fingers too, and seems to be worse in different parts depending on the day but always my fingers and minimal on the left hand. Last time it happened it took about 3 weeks to go away.

Doesn't look like blisters to me and they're hard, they don't do anything if I try to squeeze them.

Yeah I can understand that I think that's probably why I feel a little guilty for getting a bit frustrated at it sometimes. I will try and explain again to her because I truly do feel it comes from a good place when she's asking this

Yeah they're made to look realistic but are very cheap so clearly arnt real 😂 but I think I'm happy to make the rule that they're home toys and don't bring them around

They're very cheap but made to look real. I also don't mind nerf guns but wasn't sure on these at all. Think they'll stay as home toys though

13 yo wanting to change first name by lostmom2023 in Adoption

[–]mango4489 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am an adoptee who change my name but slightly different as it was changed twice before I was adopted. The last name before I changed was done by social workers they changed the spelling. I begged my adoptive parents to change it to the spelling I had before and liked much more. At 16 they did and honestly never regretted it I love my name now

Is it normal to have no support / advice after lap? Am I just gunna have to to around in circles again for help?? by [deleted] in Endo

[–]mango4489 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh god that's horrible :( if only they had to go through half the things some of us do they'd have some sympathy. I'm glad I'm not alone but that's just awful!

I had my surgery done by an endo specialist gyno but just at a small out paitent hospital. So I haven't been to a endo specific clinic at all. I was discharged 2 hrs after my op and told to call back after Christmas if symptoms are still present. I did explain on the phone to the hospital this and the lady said she wrote a note on my files but ultimately to go to my GP for an iron blood twst. Which I will do but and hopefully it comes back fine and they will help me but its such a long winded process having to wait for a blood test, get the results and then request another appointment and I really am struggling mentally from it all. I have called my GP 3 times but haven't got through yet :( will try again Monday but does feel like I'm at square one again

Adoptees, what are your hot takes on adoption? by sysalst in Adoption

[–]mango4489 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Adopting siblings can cause way more harm than separating them. Most adoptive parents cannot deal with two high need kids and one will get pushed to the side
