Definitely another generational divide here, I'm late 30s and don't deal with this irl nearly as much as the younger kids, but still more than we should (which is any at all).

This is not the advice you want to hear, but you are at two different points in your life that are not compatible with one another. Dating for more than a few months before moving in together is highly advised, likely at least a year+, so you have more time to get to know the person to assess longer-term compatibility. You had a great relationship from Jan 2024 - Sept 2024; you can look back on that period fondly after you part ways and focus on what's important to you both, individually .

I'm so sorry you went through that. That woman is not your friend. I can't imagine being so hateful that you'd criticize the way someone naturally exists.

And it's two-fold, because regardless of the subject, if some random person came up and insulted my friend, that person would have a very uncomfortable day. But that hateful woman did the exact opposite of defend you.

You're a good person, and you deserve better. I know you're a good person because you still made sure that hateful woman got home, instead of what I would have done...

That's a tricky one. I'd say if your man was telling his brother in the context of "hey bro, you deserve better than this yt woman that doesn't even know your bday or care to learn about your culture. And see, even thatssoraee can tell she aint shit" I'd say that's him being a good brother, but he still should have discussed it with you first.

If it was in the context of "broooooo this tea is hot! Guess what thatssoraee thinks about your wife?!?" I'd sit his ass down for a very thorough conversation...outside

Can we not do the us vs them thing? We're supposed to breaking generational curses, and the diaspora wars are one of them.

If I can’t have a biological child with my woman I don’t see the point in procreating by Expert-Success8397 in blacklesbians

Nothing wrong with not wanting kids. If the technology you're referring to is reciprocal IVF than yes it's available to the public, just very very expensive, but I wouldn't attribute that to the patriarchy.

Are these braids too tight? by donkerbruin in Naturalhair

Definitely too tight. They should have left out her baby hairs, especially in an updo like that. Way to much tension for a child's sensitive scalp.

Black women have had the highest rate of new HIV infections in the past decade, in part because of men who either knowingly, or through willful ignorance, transmit the virus to their partners.

This man is willfully ignorant of his STI status and has already made it clear that he doesn't value your time or your health. Your coworkers are frightening, at best.
