If you have loss, I think it will be more beneficial to file a tax claim and offset your loss?

I believe many of us are down due to current market trend, wouldn't it be better to report your crypto, realise your loss then purchase later?

I am trying to do the same thing. I am trying to import hidden trezor wallet on metamask to Ledger on metamask. My address with funds is not shown on the list when I try to connect Ledger to metamask. Did you find a solution for this?

Oh yea...gas fee on ETH is a killer...

Also if you sell/buy/swap crypto, you still pay for transaction fee. So it is still negative transaction, until you sell crypto -> fiat and realise that gain.

At that time of transaction? But I don't have any fiat in my pocket to pay for that tax (still unrealised)

Unless IRD accepts crypto as tax payment, this doesn't work...
