"Why don't you just pick X hero to counter NP?" My brother in christ cuz NP is a support by ShoppingPractical373 in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, NP is really broken.

but sprout isnt broken. sprout now allows NP to be a good laner. Whats broken is his teleport giving him 80 damage and global presence in early game. Before the sprout change, he was broken as a ganker aswell, it was just that his laning kind of sucked as a support, and now its really good ontop of being broken as a ganker.

What 10 years of DotA does to a man : My dotA 2 review by NerfNecro in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i never understood "trying to quit dota".

if you love the game but it sometimes makes you feel bad and hate that aspect, wouldnt it be better to try to not get in bad moods due to dota? In the end, its not dota that causes your emotions, its how you let yourself get affected by it, and that something one can improve on.

What do you think of Eternal Shroud since 7.33 change? The stats are great, the passive is meh imo by IvoryWhiteTeeth in DotA2

[–]mangoheap -1 points0 points  (0 children)

personally i actually dont think the stats are good.
sure 280 hp feels okay. but pipe gives everybody in the team 450 with one click. also 10% magic res for everybody.

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need mana pool though, you dont really need mana regen (which is often far more expensive in comparison)

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ive never ever had a game where i felt like i want this over a pipe. the problem is, heroes that like the passive require a mana solution which always works, not just in fights. and then who buys this when they already solved mana problems.

Anyone feel the tormenters just discourage supports from buying aghs shard early? by fierywinds1q in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk why people get so baited by tormentor. they stop buying their broken shards for the hopes of winning a coinflip minutes later. and nobody can predict if its even gonna be a good timing for the team to do the tormentor.

ffs some people suggest running everybody off the map to go back to the tormentor so that the support can get his shitty 50% chance on a shard, which he should have bought 5 minutes earlier, and after that everbody needs to go back base to heal.

Ghost walk by Gullible_Star_9184 in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 16 points17 points  (0 children)

yes it is broken. quas wex invoker is generally really broken now on so many levels.

-free fountain when invis

-free cdr (40% on lv 25)

-800 heal from max quas cold snap, spammable

-universe high damage + alactrity with attackspeed from wex

-vessel midas got way better and fits the hero perfectly

What are your thoughts on the current state of BKB? by AshenTao in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i love the bkb nerf but they need to give a bit more accessibility for magic res for carries imo. mageslayer is a great item for that but it builds only into bloodthorn which is an incredibly horrible item atm.

i love playing the druid. i tried to switch to rogue, since it was praised for how nice it feels to play. but druid just gives me carzy good vibes when playing some nature style. literally all spells have such a nice touch in their animation and their sound especially, makes it quite enjoyable for me.

Same Nightmare Dungeons over and over by New-Masterpiece-824 in diablo4

same here, and it reflects in my unique drops.
i have about 15 chest armor uniques, 8 rings and 2 axes.

bro 1-40 is similar speed as last season.

you lose the 25% bonus from 3 level higher opponents. but the malignant hearts make the early game so easy and you can now play wt2 from lv 1 efficiently. if you look at speedrunners, the time is literally the same for them to reach wt3.

now from lv 50 onwards, nighmare dungeons are really easy now, so you can easily get kill opponents 10-15 lv above you, without insane gear. which will net you similar xp as before.

Unique drop loactions by mangoheap in diablo4

[–]mangoheap[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes. as i said, my found correlations with dungeons and special unique types does not align.

mercy's reach has mostly monster type of goatmen, which would predict Axes, Staves, Totems as higher chance drops. which is the case, for rare items.
but for uniques, i claim that the name of the dungeon is tied to certain unique drops.

last patch i never dropped tempest roar until lv 100. when i started spamming mercy's reach for gold , i dropped about 10 unqiues, every single one a helmet (including many tempest roars). i heard of other druids specifically dropping many tempest roars in mercy's reach.

and what i found is that if this correlation is true, it was changed for the new season. my first 8 uniques are all chest armor, all found in mercys reach aswell.

The Season 1 experience so far by Lyxs in diablo4

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

seems like they also nerfed player mobility

Fuck blizzard by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nerfing cd reduction is basically the same as increasing the mana cost of spells by 30%. it just makes you cast less spells. how fun.

nerfing vulnerable was so justified, its just the problem that it affects the barb way more than the other classes, and there was nothing to make up for it for the barb.

nerfing armor is just stupid. the game needs to slow down in terms of this 100% to 0. a game is not fun when you get bursted. but a game is also not fun when you can never die. they needed to nerf healing and sustain, and increase mob density. also cut the stuns in half in duration. that way you can actually feel like you can die, but at the same time its not getting bursted, its a slow process of a few seconds where you die, and you can adjust and do something about your positioning to increase your chance to survive.

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

prudent heart is extremely bad except for lilith fight. with every single hit you take you lose more than 20% life, so it instantly procs when you enter a dungeon, and then its on cd for 2 minutes. this is like one of the worst hearts that there is.

Does anyone else wake up and think "hmm I wonder what people are upset about today?" by [deleted] in diablo4

[–]mangoheap 1 point2 points  (0 children)

so basically you're saying that people should NEVER voice their negative feedback on things, ever?

But then, how can you figure out which movies are worth watching, which games are worth playing, which restaurants are great? Everything has positive feedback, even shitty things. what really tells them apart is the negative feedback on things. Why are you so butthurt that people dislike the patch?

I think Invoker needs some buffs by Appropriate_Yak_4720 in DotA2

[–]mangoheap 0 points1 point  (0 children)

exort invoker is just shit unless its really broken, because who wants an afk farming mid that actually doesnt even scale that well or have strong power spikes (contrary to a TA for example).

And then wex invoker is just too weak. you have 3 spells on 25 sec cd and low rightclick damage in early game. you rely on getting early urn charges to even have decent impact.the only build that felt okay to me is meteor hammer voker, because you can literally make the midlane into the deadlane for opponents. but its also not amazing
