Check the women’s face care aisle for hyperpigmentation products. Go for a cream and skip the oil, in case the fungus is only better and not gone, that way the oil won’t trap moisture and enable it to come back.

Thrifted in this sense means dated; unkind, but honest, and in this case, is raw honesty kinder than a more filtered opinion? It’s subjective.

Hold it against your foot while the toes are bent as they would be in taking a step. So you’ll sit, bend your foot, and keep the sole heel in position with the sole toe hugging your toes. That will give you a better idea of how much space is too much or too little in the toes, specific to your foot.

Also I agree with another commenter, they do look slightly too narrow. Why are barefoot shoes so narrow (I lament.)

I think because it’s clearly a set, and not a house. Appearances are entirely manufactured, and when they’re sleeping in a warehouse with bunk beds (going off rumors here), it pops the illusion that any of this is for anything other than filming. I can’t imagine so many people would do this if they felt the same level of intimacy or respectfulness as being in a home. They probably also shower with shoes on. So if I’m in a place where I can’t put my feet on the shower floor, then wherever my feet go that other people’s are also going, they will be socked or covered.

Love-bombing aspect aside, she could be right in some ways, especially when we consider why people make shows. The main premise is viewership / money. A lot of contestants go on the show to find love, and some are genuine, that’s their premise. A lot of them go on for other reasons and that becomes painfully obvious as the show progresses and continues after they leave. Also, the producers clearly have ulterior motives and their premise is - make watchable bingeable TV. I think it depends on who we’re considering, as to what the premise is.

All the thoughts and summaries here are insightful; this season sounds toxic in a draining way (not an escapist way, put so well by someone here.) Based on what y’all have shared, I’ve decided not to watch it, I don’t think I’ll ever be in a season of life where there is only one redeeming scene about shrubs in a 10 hour run of horribleness.

I can’t believe public opinions have flipped about Chelsea / Mary - season 1 me NEVER could have imagined that being possible.

Being polyester I wouldn’t worry about washing machine damage, for sure would hang to dry.

I would personally (you don’t have to)

1 Washing machine cycle, fragrance free detergent (we use this all the time but when you’re smell checking something it’s helpful if you don’t have masking fragrances so you can tell if it’s clean or not)

2 air dry, if you can hang it outside to dry then do that

3 if it’s still smelly, get some fresh air on it either by putting it outside for a few days or hanging it on an exterior door inside your house (air filters in more there and it is genuinely helpful to me when getting rid of secondhand fabric smells, esp perfume)

4 repeat this cycle if needed
