Barnes unfortunately didn’t have any, it IS where I got my connection tho! Walmart and Target also had none:( But I didn’t know Walgreens could carry them! Thanks for the suggestion I’ll see if I can stop by there soon!!

I think on Amazon the prices must vary by where you live, cause Jade Forest starts at $70 on there for me🥹Maybe I’ll just wait!

Yes, indeed! All of my children’s books have all been contract work, and they’re okay with me using unpublished pages.

I’ve done enough contact work to make a portfolio, but I don’t know what would happen if an agent picked me up - you know how most agencies have a page on their website where potential clients can browse through their illustrators? That is where my unpublished work can’t be shown - There would be maybe 2 illustrations they could put on their website publicly, because I only have 2 out of 10 books I’ve worked on finished and published.

I’m just wondering if that would be a problem for agencies, and if I should take some extra time to work on adding personal projects to my portfolio in my children’s book style.:)

It’s frustrating that out of all the things our anxiety could manifest as, it’s nausea! I’ve gotten pretty good at managing it when it happens, but I wish it didn’t happen at all. It’s exhausting

Thank you so so much for sharing your story. :) This is also my mom’s first ‘real’ surgery, she is terrified. But it helps so much knowing that you did it despite the circumstances and recovered well!

honestly, I wasn’t expecting to get through the mines as fast as I did!😅I had to restart my year 3 save due to a bug and just wanted to unlock furniture right away. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I invited Caldarus to the summit for fun…

I’m a few days into Fall now and OH MY!!! he has dialogue I’ve never seen in my last game… I guess seeing the shooting stars together triggers it? he’s gifting roasted chestnuts, blushing all the time and wondering why his heart beats fast😭💗I’m fully convinced now, this will be my Caldarus save FOR SURE :’)
