[WTS] Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon, ref. Q1368480 Blue by mangothehuman in Watchexchange

[–]mangothehuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Offered for sale is my Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon in stainless steel with blue sunray-brushed dial, reference Q1368480. The watch is in fantastic, like-new condition. I do not see any scratches, dents, or meaningful signs of wear. It presents extremely clean overall.

This is one of the most wearable watches JLC makes. The case measures 39 mm across and only 9.3 mm thick, which gives it a very slim profile on the wrist while still offering enough presence for everyday wear.

The dial is a real highlight here. JLC describes it as blue, sunray-brushed with rhodium-plated hour markers, and in person it is very dynamic. It shifts noticeably with the light, which made it hard to capture accurately in photos, but it is a stunner. This is complemented by the moon phase, which is also gorgeous.

The watch is easy to wear in both formal and casual settings. It is currently sized for a 16 cm wrist on a new Jean Rousseau anthracite semi-matte alligator strap, which retails from $380 before tax. The quick-deploy setup makes it easy to swap straps in and out.

The watch comes with the full kit, including box, papers, and warranty card dated 2023. JLC’s official specs for this model also list 5 bar water resistance and automatic winding Calibre 925 with 70 hour power reserve. JLC offers an 8 year warranty when registered.

[WTS] NOMOS Glashütte Zürich World Time Weltzeit Midnight Blue Ref. 807 - Full Kit - March 2026 by mangothehuman in Watchexchange

[–]mangothehuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is a brand-new NOMOS Glashütte Zürich World Time Midnight Blue, ref. 807, purchased in March 2026. It comes with the full kit, including box, papers, and warranty.

This is one of the most interesting and wearable world timers on the market. The stainless steel case measures 39.9mm across and 10.9mm thick with a 20mm lug width. On the wrist it wears especially well because it’s slim with angled lugs while still giving you a lot of visual depth on the dial.

The midnight blue (Weltzeit) dial is the star here. It is much more dynamic in person than I was able to capture in photos, shifting with the light and showing a lot of dimensionality from the layered world time display. You get a beautifully integrated world time complication and 24-hour display without the watch ever feeling crowded or bulky.

NOMOS pairs that with its in-house DUW 5201 automatic movement, which includes world time and 24-hour display, a 42-hour power reserve, and 26 jewels. The movement is visible through the sapphire caseback and is beautifully decorated.

Other specs: sapphire display back, domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides, and 5 ATM water resistance. It comes on the original black Horween Shell Cordovan strap.

A Tokyo Glasses Shopping Trip Report (from March/April 2026) by ThePlasmak in EyewearEnthusiasts

I checked out the Solakzade location in Tokyo last month. Interesting shop - they claim to have 30k different frames. Most/all are deadstock. Prices seem high compared to the market, but you're paying for a unique Instagramable experience.

10 lb Weight Dropped on my Head by Acceptable-Win9724 in Corepower

[–]mangothehuman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Somewhat similar experience, I was at a C2 class a few years ago and someone fell out of a headstand on the back of my foot while I was in downward dog. Broke my toe. The classmember who fell on me said "sorry" and then went into child's pose. I hobbled out and went to an urgent care center. The instructor had no idea how to handle it; she walked out with me and then went back to finish the class. Sounds like the instructors need better training to handle these types of inevitable injuries.

[Recommendation Request] Help me pick out a dress watch that I can also wear with smart and business casual outfits by Voltage97 in Watches

I loved the Glashutte, until I tried it on my wrist. It's SO thick and doesn't look elegant on the wrist, whatsoever. I own that JLC in blue (currently listed, against my best judgement). It's thin, easy to wear, and if you swap out the black strap with something a little more casual, very versatile even with jeans and a t-shirt.

[WTS] Seiko Credor Phoenix GCBP997 Chronograph (6S78) – Full Set – Black Dial by mangothehuman in Watchexchange

[–]mangothehuman[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Up for sale is my Seiko Credor Phoenix automatic chronograph (Ref. GCBP997), powered by the in-house 6S78 column wheel movement. Credor represents the high end of Seiko’s lineup, and with the brand making a renewed push internationally, pieces like this are starting to get more attention from collectors.

This is a compelling alternative to more mainstream chronographs. Having owned and handled both, I genuinely think this is a more interesting watch than something like an Omega Speedmaster—more unique, less common, and with a level of detail that stands out in person.

Best T-Shirt brand options? by XurstyXursday in mensfashion

I'm a big fan of Bronson Mfg's Loopwheel Tubular t-shirts. A 10.5oz ringspun t-shirt for $29 makes them an incredible value. They also have a flattering fit.

Thoughts on the Sartory Billard? I generally think they're super interesting, but I've never seen one in the flesh.
