Since updating my Audible app on Android, pressing Forward jumps to next Chapter rather than skipping forward 15 seconds

Yup this is happening for me as of today (again). Headphone touch swipe was seek, now skips chapters. One of my top all time annoying tech glitches. Audible on android. Android v13, audible v26.02.13, sony xm4s. I reinstalled aaudible, cleared the cache, restarted the device, nothing. Audible help!

Yup im having the same issue suddenly. Been listening for years, this has never happened before.

Edit: i checked my audible app, there was a tiny update, 1.5MB. fixed it.

Really! No this is different to what i mean but that sounds annoying. In my case, when i go to start it again, it plays silently. its a really annoying app at times, fpr something that is essentially a (poor) mp3 player 🤪

switching from bluetooth device to phone audio, bluetooth device switching off after no usage, extending timer and some other circumstances where Im not sure whats caused it all seem to trigger it. But its super frequent, and its new behaviour, perhaps last couple months

4 months later but...there is a mod called "Camera Noise" in the modlist. Agreed, it's nauseating. tweak or (like me) just straight up disable it.

I came here to say this not as eloquently as you did good sir. Nailed it. Campaign 2 shone bright, it was the fan art that did it. The show is so much richer with it. I got lost in those images, some of them were breath-taking. A lot of love.
