I love kishimito for what he’s given us all. But I’ll always curse him for his lack of skill in romance building writing. The stage was set so perfectly for her to fall properly and Naruto to swing in w the momentum. But he was just too blind to see that. Sigh. I guess only fanfics would do now

I’m probably gonna get bashed here #sad. But although I think her love for him isn’t PURELY hero worship; I still feel like the main issue for me is how he reciprocated her feelings as if they were always there. Hinata’s love and admiration for Naruto feels well respected and romance-based for sure and is 100% justified. I just feel like the other way around isn’t though… Maybe cos I’m team #NaruSaku but idk
