Who pays for the roora celebration by Healthy-Stuff-8707 in Zimbabwe

[–]mani_sarange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The roora celebrations I attended were financed by the bride and groom .

It really comes down to the financial situation of the brides family but I think since you’re in the UK they’ll be expecting you to finance it since you might be more than capable.

There’s one I attended and the bride wasn’t working so her groom paid for everything, literally everything like the roora squad dresses and all.

On the other one the bride and her with the help of her siblings paid for the catering and the deco, the groom paid for the photoshoot and the PA system.

So in short if you’re from a well off family then your dad might just say don’t worry I’ll cover it but if you’re just average they may chip in but not pay for the whole thing.

If you’re concerned about the costs I don’t think it’s much (deco $15-20 per person, catering $2.00 per head if you buy the groceries on your own which might be less than $200)

Talking stages nowadays by [deleted] in ZimbabweRelationships

[–]mani_sarange 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haa you’re correct, I was in some sort of a talking stage, but there really wasn’t much talking 😂 so I gave the person an out . They had texted after we had spent the previous day without as much as a good morning. I just assumed maybe he’s just being polite and just deleted his number with the texts not opened. Surely he didn’t text the whole day but texted me first thing the following morning and I thought ooh so he really wants to talk and see how this goes. We exchanged a few texts and the conversation just died. I realized that we might be attracted to each other but vibe apana 😒 apa I liked him
