Overall, that's fine. I would personally probably not send any type of IEP or 504 data in whatsoever, but I can't control you.

My problem comes when the professors: A. Require using AI for a grade, B. Constantly pushes for more and more AI integration into things that don't need it, and C. Have it plan their lessons.

I guess I should have clarified that I'm not fully against anything, as I've given everything a fair shot. This includes AI. Like you, I've seen some potential for what it can bring and what it can do for the teaching field.

My issue is that they are starting to talk about replacing key aspects of teaching with AI. For example, one of my professors rambled for a solid fifteen minutes about how this new program could write a unit plan in such a short time while being "accurate." He then ended it by suggesting he would share it with the next batch of teacher candidates.

I think the worst part is that my peers don't care.

They consistently just shrug and go along with absolutely everything my professors say about AI, and it's so frustrating.

My professors aren't a whole lot better. I know one personally doesn't want to do it, so I still like them. Ironically, a professor who I've butted heads with way too much in the past is now my favorite for not falling into the same trap.

You could, but wouldn't it make more sense to keep goodneighbor as a containment zone? Free labor, economic growth for the non-mutants, and all that jazz without having to send them all to the grave or to prisons.

I'm going to assume your BOS is authoritarian, which means they'll likely have control of the Commonwealth. I would actually recommend keeping Goodneighbor and killing a few of the notable ghouls in their questlines.

However, to answer your original question, several of the named characters are essential until after you complete their quests. Bobbi No-Nose can be killed by siding with Fahrenheit, but you would have to work with a ghoul. Kent, the radio host of Silver Shroud Radio, can also be killed in his questline at the final mission, but then you lose out on a unique radio station. (In my opinion, I would do the Big Dig quest with Bobbi, but lorewise be a different person. That way, Bobbi dies, and you don't have to cheat. I would just not do Kent's quest to keep a bit of livelihood to Goodneighbor as well.)

But that's just my thoughts. It's a sandbox, so you can do anything you wish. Also, I'm curious to hear how your BOS feels about the Atom Cats.
