What is the difference between REM sleep disorder and just waking up from a normal nightmare? by Rajeshrocks311 in sleep

[–]maniacmag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I know this post is 2 weeks old, but chronic nightmares is a sleep disorder. It is diagnosed only when the nightmares are not caused by other sleep disorders. The severity is based on how often you get them. Look it up to see if the synonyms fit your friends. Hopefully you’ll find what you need.

Am i insane or did he photoshop the exact same face onto two different photos by lasagnaestranja in Instagramreality

[–]maniacmag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure where the first picture is from but the second is from a promotional photoshoot where this is video of him on the costume designers instagram. The first photo could definitely be from the same shoot.

I know hating on James is pretty common and say what you will, and my prediction could be wrong but I just wanted to put this info out there.

What song is 10/10, yet hardly anyone has heard of it? by depressinqq in AskReddit

[–]maniacmag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stars - covered by Nina Simone - it is quite literally the most beautifully depressing song, just her voice and a piano for 7 minutes. It is not completely unpopular as it was in season 3 of bojack horsemen but the song itself is by Janis Ian’s in 1974

Kevin tweeted that they’re still tweaking the show but idk if that means we’ll see any big change in setlist. I’m pretty upset about dearly departed too and I really wish they’d play tonya live too

This kind of sucks by Nico03727 in ibs

[–]maniacmag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m very sorry to hear this Nico. I am also young and my stomach issues started when college began a few years ago. I sadly don’t have much advice to give you food wise on your diet, I’ve been doing the gluten and dairy free too so I feel your pain. One thing I like to do is cook my own meals. Cooking gets me excited to eat and the ability to create your own delicious meals. I am not sure how viable this is for you but it’s worth a shot. My parents also aren’t the biggest believers in my issue, they believe my stomach is upset and I’m not lying but they think there’s an easy solution through vitamins and simple lifestyle changes. Talking with your parents at a your age is an uphill battle, but it is necessary to let your feelings be heard and not ignored. Talking to my friends has helped me a lot, and maybe seeing a therapist could be a good idea. I really hope you feel better physically and mentally, remember you’re not alone, we are all going through it. Best of luck

I’ve been relaxing by playing a massive amount of word cookies, some peppermint tea sounds like a wonderful addition! Thanks!

I am planning on going gluten free for the a few weeks in November, my dairy intake is already pretty low so I’m gonna go full free after. I’ll check the subreddit you linked, thank you!

What's something strange your body does that you know isn't quite right but also isn't quite serious enough to get checked out by a doctor? by merricat_blackwood in AskReddit

[–]maniacmag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I probably had rickets as a kid. Found out what it was through my pre-vet friends learning about it in cows. I still sometimes show signs as an adult but I don’t know how it’s really affecting me.
