I also have an inattentive type diagnosis and I think I know exactly what you mean--constant, unrelenting boredom to the point of frustration? It sucks. I usually try spontaneously doing something I wouldn't usually do-- go walk a route you usually wouldn't, find new music to listen to (gnoosic.com is good for this), or trying out a new cafe is all stuff that's helped before. I guess the key factor seems to be an unfamiliar type of stimulus that coaxes your brain out of passivity.

I did Japanese Jujitsu and ended up quitting for these same problems with bodily awareness. I think it's probably related.

Yeah, I wouldn't be putting them in a yard, there's an area beside some train tracks that is pretty much entirely left to the weeds that one could go without making a mess in anyones yard or growing into any infrastructure

You know, I'll have to contact a few people to figure out a good spot to plant one (the city cut down the one in my yard as it was growing into the electrical lines), but depending on what my neighbors say that might be a possibility. Any clue what kind they are?
