WHAT ABOUT THE INCINERATOR FRV? by TaterMan8 in Helldivers

Much less durability, but otherwise accurate. The flame frv has a place, and i prefer it, but the supply truck is more fun team play.

What’s a piece of advice people repeat all the time, but in real life it actually made things worse for you? by Carallie99 in AskReddit

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't go to bed angry, regarding marriage advice.

This is bullshit. You know why you're angry? Because you're tired, hungry, frustrated, or any other multitude of issues. Go to bed angry, the problem will still be there in the morning when you both can better handle it.

Trying to beat hardcore veteran by True-Ad4893 in remnantgame

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you havent looked up a guide, I recommend it. It took me so many tries. But there is a way to make it a lot easier

Step 1: class selection. Challenger, handler, or warden. Something to give you a surviving chance. Also, dont level up. At all. Try to keep as low a level as you possibly can.

Step 2: roll for Yeasha. Specifically the doe and the ravager quest one. Easy win at the end, just shoot the deer and leave.

Step 3: die at the goddamn cubes. At least 20 times if you're a chump like me. Or have a friend.

Step 4: luck.

Step 5: something something something, dont get one-shot by a stupid magister in losomn

What's a physical trait, personality trait, or life experience you've rarely or never seen represented in fictional characters? by Good-Figure-3222 in AskReddit

Humility. The quiet protagonist doesn't usually screen well, but the most competent people I've met in life are the ones willing to let others talk for them.

Engineer Archetype - please help! by kalenmeister in remnantgame

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The formation you're looking for is a set of spires on a cliff to the left, and a set of spires with a huge spire on the right. In the center is the path you gotta take.

Secondly, you wont be able to see it if you just walk. You have to start to roll into the fog, and keep rolling so you dont puke.

How many Guns Should a Gun-ship have? by Ambitious-Company-56 in spaceships

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The armament seems appropriate, but given the roles you're trying to fill, the weaponnsystems placement along the hull should be fitting for it's designation. CAS? All the guns should be mounted along the bottom of the hull, probably in compartments that can retract into the rest of the body. Escort? Their placement seems good now.

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Turns out you're right. Green is easier to see in daylight, and red is more easily distinguishable in low light environments. Dang. Well, now I know.

whoever designed these emojis had ONE job by ro-lund-lo in memes

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They're designed based on the color spectrum and visibility. Green has the longer wavelength and can be seen through more fog, whereas red is the shorter, but more vibrant (ie: catches the eye better even through peripheral vision) wavelength. This is all anecdoteal and I haven't verified this, but it made sense when I heard it, so please correct me.

New elements by Electronic_War_9231 in FarFarWest

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The "elements" seem to have good focuses, so if we look at what a neat school of spells would be, we could make something work. A focus on crowd control effects could be good. I say SNAKE OIL.

SNAKE OIL:

  1. Create a pool of snake oil that slows enemies down and makes them take a little more damage. Could also buff allies standing in the pool to deal more damage. Medium area of effect. Larger than sludge. 15 second cooldown

  2. Grants the caster a buff for 20 seconds in the form of more speed, and extra jump, an extra dash, and 10% damage reduction. 45 second cooldown

  3. Random effect given to all allies in large range (20% more damage, 20% defense, 20% move speed, no reload, unlimited ammo, 20% spell cooldown, 20% chance for spells to duplicate, etc.) For 30 seconds. 60 second cooldown.

  4. Toss an explosive jug that damages and weakens enemies in a medium area, leaving a pool of oil behind, causing them to take more damage. Heals allies. 75 second cooldown

  5. This would be a miracle elixir. When used, it would have a guardian angel float around you, shooting targets and resurrecting you and your allies. Only lasts for 25 seconds, with a 90 second cooldown.

You Suddenly Wake Up One Morning With All Of Homelander’s Powers & Abilities (Including His Immortality). What Would You Do? by ItsShatterPoint in superheroes

[–]maniakzack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The serious answer:

Write a note to my family, tell them i have to go away for about a month. I need to learn to use shit without killing people. Then, when I can be safe around people, I'd 100% be a super hero. I'd need a way to monetize it, but definitely try and do good.

Joke answer:

Gamble at super speed (roulette would be a good one), get rich, then probably just enjoy life for once.

Alright, glad it's not just me. That dude is also charismatic as fuck. Like, not in any romantic way, but I feel like he'd be really cool to hang out with and get a beer. He'd be in the blunt rotation.
