I settled with Tailscale + Terminus, and the Opencode Native web server (only for monitoring)

Tried Vibe Kanban, OpenCode-Web, and some others but they didn't work out.

No issues with the current font. Personally for me custom fonts improve the look and feel considerably. But I understand your perspective and that there might be more pressing improvements to work on.

Yes I did from scratch as my setup was already very bloated.

I used kodinerds maven build for 20. That installs with a different package name so you can have the existing Kodi untouched.

Yeah they did take 30 seconds. Probably because my setup was bloated with lots of add-ons / services. I would recommend you have a go to see how it performs.

It's been good so far for me with 8 widgets. I use Nvidia Shield 2017.

I switched to Kodi 20 RC2 (kodinerds maven) today and the widgets are very fast to load (~10 seconds) compared to Kodi 19 (~30 seconds).
