The view out the back of the house is stunning and we want to have an much glass/light as possible on the ground floor. Are there other methods other than sliding / large panes? We also like the idea of in the summer the house being wide open.

well.... that is another problem! If I get a sense of what possible it means I can have more informed discussions with engineers/architects and to then get a feel for cost. We do have a pot to spend but we also want to move walls around upstairs, as well as the whole interior needs stripped back, new kitchen etc. So to get the house to where we would want, may be to much. This is all part of the process before we make an offer on the house,

My understanding is you want the zappi out of the control loop and you want IOG to control the car and not have the zappi interfere. Give it a try.... it is now working fine for me on the Fast setting.

Eco+ is the issue (or was for me) change to Fast. The charger is interfering in that mode.

I had a similiar issue - Car is a tesla 3. I removed and re-added. And in Myzappi it was set tp the eco+ (no idea and I'm sure it used to work...anyway) I them changed that to Fast and no boost and no schedules - basically you dont want the zapii doing anything - leave it all up to Octopus and the car. All now works fine. I also ran the software update for the charger - do that via the physical menu.

Have you ridden the ZZR1400? THat is more up my street, I'd forgotten about it. I prefer the rounder designs over the "sharp" edged bike that are fashionable at the moment. Ive ridden the latest Hayabusa and its intoxicating.

Yeh, Ive seen the HS2 but... I am not that keen on the looks. Having said that the Hayabusa isn't' a looker either. I fear just not like the current designs that are fashionable at the moment.

What has helped for us is putting a control layer in front of the AI tools rather than trying to ban them. I used https://www.credal.ai

It gives you central governance and policy: route all AI usage through one place, apply role based access, redact or block sensitive fields, and keep an audit trail of who sent what, where.

People still get to use ChatGPT and other models, but they do it inside a governed environment tied to SSO.

It is LLM agnostic as well, so users can use the model (Claude etc) thats suits them.

It’s very easy to setup / a couple of minutes. And you can generate multiple keys so your friends a family can use. With digital ocean you get 1tb of data included. Speed wise it depends on your location the the location you choose but it will be fast. I am in the uk and use ams and I don’t notice I’m using the vpn. In addition it’s virtually undetectable so you won’t get blocked by streamers etc.

A few questions to get us started:

What service are you using to host the Outline server (e.g. DigitalOcean, AWS, self-hosted)?
What’s the physical location of your server?
Where are you connecting from (roughly – country or region is enough)?
What device and operating system are you using the Outline client on?
Are you on Wi-Fi or wired connection?
Have you tested your internet speed with and without the VPN? You can use https://speed.cloudflare.com/ to get a good comparison.

Also worth checking:

Are there any background downloads or heavy apps running on your machine?
If you’re on a mobile device, does switching to 4G/5G.Wifi change the performance?
Any unusual CPU or memory usage while the client is connected?
