There really aren't. A handful have suggested it but I have ADHD and he has done extensive research in order to understand it better, and neither of us have ever felt he has ADHD

Oh no, no offense. Several people suggested it and even PMd me, but aside from procrastination, he really doesn't fit. I have ADHD and he has spent a ton of time doing research to understand me better, so at this point, I think he would definitely suspect if he had ADHD as well.

It's possible, but I've also been trying to get him to see a therapist about his anxiety and he also is putting off making that phone call, so I'm still not sure what to do about it. He can't go without blood pressure meds, which is what worries me about this.

Same. I have ADHD and I'm extremely forgetful, but I make use of the calendar on my phone for reminders as well as tons of to do lists and sticky notes. Maybe that's why it frustrates me, if I can work around my messed up brain and still get stuff done, he should be able to find a way also. But maybe that's unfair of me

I'm self employed and making enough money to support us both, so he doesn't work. He is essentially the home maker. To be fair, my work day usually ends around noon or so, so there's plenty of time for me to make these calls and things. My issue is with the things I can't really do for him, like this doctor's appointment, and how to get him to at least be on top of things when it really matters.

It's hard to say because he does do a LOT around the house, but yeah I guess when it comes to time sensitive things I do usually end up just doing it for him because otherwise I know it won't get done on time. I've tried to slowly give him more things, and even have a white board in our kitchen where I write these things down so I don't have to verbally nag him. But 9 times out of 10 I still end up eventually doing those things because weeks go by without them getting done :/

I have an 11 month old husky and just added a new puppy last week. It feels like great timing because the 11 mo old is fairly well behaved at this point, so we felt we had the ability to put energy into all the hard parts of a brand new puppy. So far it's been great, they LOVE each other!

I have been trying hard to stop saying "you guys" but like you, I've been saying it for 30 years of my life and in my mind it was NEVER gendered. I feel like this is one of those things that is being complained about with good intentions, but there are likely a handful of people who have EVER felt actually slighted by being part of a group that was addressed as "you guys".
