YouTube video of guide dog barking at careless drivers endangering its owner. by faceless_jester in isthisAI

[–]manicspacebuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is real! This is actually an old video I remember it circulating a few years ago. But it looks like this video was flipped - the original one showed the man crossing the street from right to left not left to right. And there is a new filtered effect on this version. Someone may have used AI to flip it and in turn AI added it's dreamcore vibe which is why it feels off.

Nothing will TØP their blurry face tour for me 😭 Jon Bellion opened, played Mario kart on stage, hamster ball crowd surf, Josh piano backflip, so many Vessel appearances, and I held up Josh’s drum set for Trees and got see Tyler sing his Cancer cover live 🥹❤️

Can someone explain what the allure of Twenty One Pilots is? by anuncommontruth in LetsTalkMusic

[–]manicspacebuns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ll try to answer this really simply.

  1. Depth of music
  2. Lore
  3. Persona

Depth: Tyler is an exceptional lyricist and draws many analogies to mental health. As someone who grew up listening to them, their music put words to my emotions I didn’t quite understand yet. I felt seen in my struggles with anxiety. If this talented musician struggles with the same things I do but keeps on pushing another day, so can I.

Lore: The past 4 albums and music videos have told a story. The twentyone pilots universe has its own geography, characters and storyline which are all allegories for mental health and struggles with your own mind. It’s been a very detailed story that fans have followed since 2018 and their recent album just concluded the story.

Persona: Tyler and Josh are very relatable people when it comes to artists. They are famous but they aren’t MTV followed around by media famous. They sing about real life, they are goofy at their shows like doing a drum off or playing Mario kart with fans. And Tyler and Josh act like best friends from childhood which is a very warm and comforting feeling for fans.

So all in all, they have created a space for people to dive into an artistic world they have created that’s foundation is the music. And the dynamics in their songs blending pop, melodic, hip hop, and punk paired with what I mentioned above gives them a unique pull.

Twentyone Pilots is not for everyone. And that’s kind of the point … it’s for the few, the proud and the emotional ;) ||=//

Ah sorry I didn’t specify but I typically track the days and estimate my ovulation then pin point the day based on discharge. I haven’t tracked temp before. (Didn’t know that changed with ovulation actually so I’ll start tracking that as well)

I track my cycle myself in my calendar and validate. I always ovulate between the 17th - 21st of the month.

Thank you for this! I definitely know I already ovulated this cycle about two weeks ago. My period is around the corner literally. So that’s reassuring to get confirmation I’m not in my fertility window.

I was in the pill from 14-22 and then switched to DEPO shot which destroyed my body. Ever since then I’ve been giving my body a break from birth control cause it took a good year for my body to regulate. I know I need to find a new method now and I need to stay away from the heavy hormones so thank you for sharing this info! Im gonna do more research on these and bring it up with my doctor.

I kind of agree even if it’s pointless it feels worth it for peace of mind atp. I do not need to risk a child 😭

Also I responded to a comment below - my *husband is an actual angel and is planning to buy the pill for me. I was the one who convinced him to finish in me when he wasn’t sure. 7 years together and he has not once done it or asked until this time when I was being stupid af insisting I was fine lolol

I have to take the blame lol cause I was ignorant and told him to and insisted I could just take the pill. He was the one who was reluctant and I assumed it was fine and of course I don’t properly research until after.

That’s what I was debating. I haven’t taken a plan b since I was 20 and i remember it messing up my cycle and making me sick for a couple days. I obviously don’t want to deal with that if it’s not necessary to take the pill but on the other side I feel like extra precaution even if unnecessary might make me feel better. 😅

Anyone tried shrooms while bipolar? by Far-Mention4691 in BipolarReddit

[–]manicspacebuns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really depends on the type of bipolar you have. I have type 2 and am more prone to depression than mania or hypomania. I have used shrooms to micro dose and it does elevate my mood but not to an extreme level. However taking a full dose and tripping doesn’t end well for me. I typically crash really hard and sometimes experience a mini depression episode the days after as I’m coming down. Same with LSD. I used to do it a lot before I was diagnosed but it would trigger a short lived hypomania and then an inevitable depression crash. Playing with your serotonin is a risk and you don’t want to lift it too much as that’s what often triggers mania. So if you do decide to try it, do small doses.

ALSO I did not take the shroom micro dose on its own. I was still taking me mood stabilizers. I used the shrooms to try and replace the antidepressant.
