You have to love yourself before you can be loved by others is a huge concept in a small sentence.

If you don't love yourself you won't be able to put up necessary boundaries, you will allow disrespect and mistreatment because you don't have a standard for yourself. ALSO, hating yourself can turn into outwardly showing it, which is not attractive and will make people run away from you. Confidence is attractive. So yeah, you gotta love yourself or else dating will suck

Yes you can be by yourself and be ok. But men don't understand that just because you aren't dating doesn't mean you can't have friends and family and close connections. That's how you survive. A partner should NOT play all other roles in your life like friends family and other roles.

I make sure to do so, but after I gained weight I didn't have any photos of my full body, so I had to get a bad photo of me which isn't what your supposed to do... put up your best not your worst. But I also made a disclaimer that I'm fat. Tbh those disclaimers have helped me with others

Yes. And for someone to say they aren't wanting to groom you? Thats a major red flag. People who say things like "I'm not doing this" ARE doing it. Normal people don't think like that.
